Baby Shower Mini Cakes

I just had to write and say that I really like the idea of individual mini cakes at baby showers. I'm a novice baker, and dabble in a bit of miniature cakery and fondant from time to time. I absolutely adore mini cakes, but loathe a project of more than 50 of them for something like a wedding. I'd much rather create 20-25 of them, and that's it. It's a lot of work, and it's just me, so you can see why I prefer smaller quantities!

With minature cakes for a baby shower, there's so many possibilities for design. They can all be the same, or each represent a different aspect of "baby". The perfect scenario is to have 3-4 designs that are all tied together, and I make 5-6 of each one.

Mini cakes displayed on a dessert plate, look fabulous. Each guest is spoiled with their own special cake, that is all their own, and they just absolutely adore that.

So there you go. Can't recommend baby shower mini cakes more.
