Holiday baking recipes good for baby shower

I'm looking for some holiday baking recipes that would be good for a baby shower. I'm helping host a baby shower and it will be in very early December. I thought it would be good to incorporate some holiday desserts but I don't want it to be inappropriate if there's some standard etiquette I'm supposed to be following for baby showers. Ideas?
