Pea in the Pod Cupcake Cake

I'm wondering if anyone here has ever attempted making a cupcake cake, particularly in the shape of a pea in the pod. If anyone's wondering what a cupcake cake is - it's a bunch of cupcakes assembled on a flat surface in a particular shape, and are sitting close together. Then they are frosted to appear like it's one big cake (only on the surface). Then when you go to "cut the cake" all you have to do is pull apart the cupcakes and eat them. Anyway, I thought this would be a good idea for a baby shower, and would love to see pictures of it, if anyone has attempted this cake design before. Click here to read or post comments. |
